Guardian Protection Force is proud to announce the promotion of Ed Turner from Senior Sergeant to Captain / Director of Uniformed Security Operations
Since joining the organization on July 23, 2022 as an Armed Patrol Officer Mr. Turner quietly promoted through the ranks. During this time he exemplified disciplined leadership, accountability, and an unwavering commitment to the Guardian Core Values. A retired Marine and accomplished retired chef known for operating at the highest standards, he brings a rare combination of operational excellence, professionalism, and people-focused leadership to this role.
Over the course of his tenure, Captain Turner has personally issued more than 3,000 employee recognitions, by far the highest in the company, a reflection of the importance he places on culture, morale, and recognizing excellence in others.
This promotion carries significant meaning within our organization.
Following the unexpected passing of Captain Jack in 2020, we intentionally left this position vacant out of deep respect for the legacy he left behind and the enormous responsibility that came with the role.
In the past nine months, we conducted an extensive search process, interviewing 11 highly qualified candidates. In the end, it became increasingly clear that Captain Turner was not simply capable of filling the role, he had already been quietly leading in a way that honored it.
One of the qualities we admire most about Captain Turner is his steadfast commitment to ensuring Guardian’s standards and Core Values are never diluted, forgotten, or compromised.
We are honored to officially welcome him into this leadership position, proudly overseeing the Uniformed Operations Division here at Guardian Protection Force.
