Mini-Ninja’s Training Event
Are your kiddos ready to transform into a Mini-Ninja? On June 26th, join us for a fun, active, and engaging 1-hour workshop that combines physical skills, safety awareness, and confidence-building in a ninja-themed environment for kids aged 5-12 years old.
5:00 – 5:10 PM | Welcome & Warm-Up
- Greet attendees and explain the event.
- Quick group warm-up: jumping jacks, arm circles, stretches.
- Explain the “Ninja Code” – Respect, Awareness, Agility.
5:10 – 5:20 PM | Stealth & Agility Drills
- Obstacle course (cones, crawling under ropes, hopping through rings).
- Emphasize quiet movement and body control.
- Use playful terminology: “Silent Shadows," “Cat Steps.”
5:20 – 5:30 PM | Situational Awareness Game
- “Ninja Freeze”: Instructor moves around; kids follow stealthily and freeze when the instructor turns around.
- Discuss the importance of observing surroundings.
- Quick talk: “What would a ninja do if they felt unsafe?”
5:30 – 5:45 PM | Basic Self-Defense & Movement
- Demonstrate simple, safe moves: breakaway from wrist grab, balance techniques.
- Practice how to use voice and body posture to show confidence (“Ninja Power Stance”).
- Emphasize using skills only for safety, not for play-fighting.
5:45 – 5:55 PM | Ninja Mission Challenge
- Combine earlier skills into a short "Ninja Mission":
- Sneak past “guards” (adults with foam pool noodles).
- Retrieve an “artifact” and return without being “tagged."
- Team up to solve a ninja riddle (teamwork element).
5:55 – 6:00 PM | Graduation Ceremony & Cool Down
- Ninja pledge (repeat after instructor).
- Hand out certificates or stickers: “Official Mini-Ninja."
- Cool down stretches and thank-yous.

About the Instructor
Garrett Thomas, CCP
Founder and COO, Guardian Protection Force
Garrett Thomas, CPP is a private security professional. In 2010 Garrett founded Guardian Protection Force with the strategic goal of specializing in executive protection, utilizing his skills learned in the field from prior employments. He currently serves as President and Founder of Guardian Protection Force Inc., an armed security and executive protection company, specializing in “Comprehensive Security Through Intelligence.”
Garrett is especially proud of his certification as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP). This certification is considered the “Gold Standard” of the Private Security Industry, globally recognized as the standard of excellence for security management professionals and issued by ASIS International.
Garrett holds bachelors in intelligence with a minor in criminal intelligence from the American Military University, an accredited and international recognized institution for Global security studies.
